Key Responsibilities:
· To summarize slip terms and conditions, calculate premiums and exposures, and ensure the accurate entry of submissions, quotes, risks, endorsements, and transactions.
· Perform as required the necessary data checks to ensure the accuracy of underwriting data.
· Store all risk information and correspondence in the document repository to ensure an accurate audit trail of all substantive business activity.
· Ensure that all relevant underwriting information is available for the peer review, risk entry, and data-checking review process.
· Maintain tools containing key underwriting information to facilitate compliance sanctions, fraud, and financial crime checks pre-bind and monitoring post-bind.
· Assist underwriters’ during the underwriting process, production of management information, business development, and marketing.
· Provide administrative support to underwriters and the Operations team in areas including credit control, data quality, and training.
· When necessary, provide support to Underwriting teams within other classes of business.
Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience assisting Underwriting operations.
· Languages: English AND German (C1 or above) are mandatory. Spanish is a plus.
· Soft skills: communication, organizational, and analytical skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team
What we offer:
· Permanent contract directly with the end client.
· Salary range: €30,000 – €36,000 gross/year fixed (Based on experience) + 7% bonus.
