We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Export Control Manager specializing in Global Classification and Jurisdiction to lead our classification pillar within the export control department. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in global classification processes and management, with a focus on defining, modifying, and executing classification strategies to ensure compliance with export control regulations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Lead and manage the global classification pillar within the export control department, overseeing classification processes and procedures across multiple locations.

·       Define and modify classification strategies on an annual basis, aligning with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

·       Manage a team of classification professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure accurate and timely classification of products and technologies.

·       Liaise with consulting companies, on ongoing classification projects and initiatives, serving as the primary point of contact and leading the charge on classification-related matters.

·       Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and business units, to ensure alignment of classification efforts with company goals and objectives.

·       Stay updated on changes to export control regulations and guidelines globally, providing expertise and guidance to ensure compliance across all classified products and technologies.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.

·       Extensive experience in global classification and jurisdiction management within the export control domain.

·       Strong understanding of export control regulations and guidelines, with expertise in classification methodologies and best practices.

·       Proven leadership experience, able to effectively manage teams and drive results.

·       Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional proficiency in English and legal vocabulary.

·       Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and execute strategies effectively.

·       Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

·       Willingness to travel, up to 2 times per quarter.
