A leading multinational Independent Power Producer (IPP) in the Renewable Energy sector are seeking a highly motivated Head of Energy Solutions to create a new business line. They are dedicated to generating clean and renewable energy from diverse sources, including photovoltaic, green hydrogen, concentrated solar power (CSP), biomethane, wind, hydroelectric, and cogeneration technologies. With a rapidly expanding presence in Spain and key international markets such as the USA, UK, France, Italy, Germany, and Poland.
As Head of Energy Solutions, you will be a senior executive responsible for leading and managing the growth initiatives of the company and offer solutions to the clients. A person with a strong Business Development and Consultant strategy attitude with a focus on the Energy Solutions. With a strong background in the different sectors of Renewable Energy (wind, solar, biomethane etc.) In charge of a newly developed tea in Self-Consumption Energy.
Responsabilities:
• Consulting: Strong knowledge of the technical energy solutions the company offers and gaining deep insights into customer needs and contributing to offering the most adequate solutions to the clients.
• Energy Demand Development: Developing and managing our own energy demand, integrating innovative and sustainable solutions.
• Developing Strategies: Expanding the customer base and increasing market share through effective business development strategies.
• Energy Services Procurement: Contracting with energy consumers for comprehensive energy management, including Grid, Supply Chain, and energy solutions to meet electricity demand. Additionally, providing support in supply procurement, power optimization, and virtual PPAs.
Requirements:
• At least 5+ years of experience in Business Development experience within the Energy/Electricity sectors. Experience in Data Centers could be valuable.
• Graduate Engineer in (Chemical, Energy, Industrial) or a related field.
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and profitability.
• Strong client management and negotiation skills with solid commercial skills (B2B and B2C)
• Soft Skills: A person with impact, intuition and good strategic, negotiation and communication skills. Great leadership skills and the ability to develop and grow the business line of the company. A person who is motivated and goal-oriented.
• English C1 or higher is a must
• Availability for occasional international travel.
