SALES DIRECTOR in Valencia, SPAIN (m/f)

 

Leading multinational company in the Ingredients industry is looking for a Sales Director to join their Sales department in their offices in Spain. 

 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

 
Main goal: Reporting directly to the Unit Business Managing Director and being member of the Executive Board, the Sales Director will be the responsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales activities to achieve sales.
 

  • Develop and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Review and analyze sales performance against programs and plans to determine effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage sales operating budgets.
  • Develop and recommend product and pricing strategies.
  • Direct and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories and goals.
  • Maintain talented sales team through effective recruiting, selecting, training, and performance management.
  • Coordinate sales objectives with other departments to include projections, needs assessments, and planning.
  • Meet with key clients while assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Education: Economics/ Business Administration/ International Trade/ Marketing & Sales Degree or Master.
  • Experience: +8 years of experience in Sales Departments preferably within the food industry, accustomed to defining strategic plans, taking decisions and managing teams within international and dynamic environment. Experience in dealing with industrial clients.
  • Languages: Fluent Spanish and English. French is a plus.
  • Personal & Soft Skills: High strategic mind, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop long term relationships with clients, passion about sales, fast learner, adaptability and flexibility to changes, open-minded.
